RUBBER BONDED ABRASIVE CUT-OFF WHEELS
HAYES ABRASIVES, INC. has brought the process of abrasive cutting up-to-date with modern manufacturing technology and now represents the ideal tool for cutting.
HAYES ABRASIVES provides a range of RUBBER BONDED thin slitting wheels, from 0.1mm to 5.0mm in thickness and 25mm to 450mm in diameter. These wheels are manufactured to close tolerances, thus allowing the ultimate in precision to be obtained while cutting-off. Wet cutting with HAYES ABRASIVES CUTTING WHEELS will provide a clean, burr free, surface without changing the characteristics of the material being cut. Using rubber bonded cutting wheels, it is possible to eliminate further finishing processes and reduce material loss.
With a desire for rapid production of components, many manufacturers have turned to extruding or cold drawing the required shapes and cutting these off to size. This new trend in production is only possible where fast and accurate cutting is available; HAYES ABRASIVES, INC. makes it possible.
